Less dead trees in the conference pack

In the era of "Being Green" it's odd that SXSW would give every attendee 10 lbs of dead trees in their conference bag. Why not move some of that content online and just give us the bare minimum.

have a Coworking panel & Coworking area

Coworking was hot this year. Have a panel, or 3 or 4, and put together an area dedicated to coworking (with a decent connection).

Hire a UI designer and get your site together

Really, this is like the 3rd, maybe even the 4th time I've had to register for something on "your" site. Each registration has been unintuitive and painful. Spend a few bucks, hire a UI firm. Please.

    Promote OpenFormat More

There were a few cool ideas at OpenFormat, but I didn't find out about it until too late.

    Put panel voting/feedback online

Do away with the small yellow feedback forms that we have to fill out by hand and turn in.

include more panels with advertising agencies

considering the majority of our sites are free and paid for by companies through advertising, let's find out a way to make the ads, less intrusive / seamless, more entertaining, and ultimately provide a real purpose for being there. agencies working with sites, products working with agencies. everyone gets paid, everyone gets to continue to make stuff, everyone gets happy.

Sell Beverages On The Interactive Floor

I shouldn't have to go all the way downstairs to get somethis to drink or even nibble on. I have no problem paying for the serivice, I don't want to be inconvienanced.

Post session details in the halls not just next to the door

It's frustrating to have to walk up to each conference room to see what's going on in there. Why not post in the hall abstracts for all the sessions in the area.

More food options in the conference center

There doesn't seem to be a lot of options outside the conference center that aren't sit down places and the best I can get in the center is a danish.
